What We Collect

When you use Lobbyside, we collect information you provide directly:

  • Account information (name, email, avatar) from your GitHub or Google sign-in
  • Widget configuration data (display name, title, colors, settings)
  • Visitor information submitted through widget forms (name, company, email, LinkedIn URL) as configured by the widget host
  • Call metadata (timestamps, duration, status) — we do not record audio or video

How We Use It

  • To provide the Lobbyside service — connecting visitors with hosts via live video calls
  • To display your profile information on your widget
  • To send email verification codes when email verification is enabled
  • To improve the product through anonymized usage analytics

Video Calls

Video calls are facilitated through LiveKit, a third-party WebRTC infrastructure provider. Lobbyside does not record, store, or have access to the audio or video content of your calls. Call connections are peer-to-peer through LiveKit's servers.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Lobbyside:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • LiveKit — video call infrastructure
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • PostHog — product analytics and error tracking
  • Railway — application hosting

Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Call metadata is retained for analytics purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies to track usage patterns. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to restrict processing.
