Terms of Service

Last updated: April 9, 2026

1. What Lobbyside Is

Lobbyside is a live video call widget that you install on your website. It lets your site visitors start a 1:1 video call with you directly from your site. These terms govern your use of the Lobbyside service at lobbyside.com and the embeddable widget.

2. Your Account

You sign in with GitHub or Google. You are responsible for your account and any activity under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use Lobbyside.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Lobbyside for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten visitors or other users
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise the service
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Use the service to distribute spam or unsolicited communications

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Video Calls

Lobbyside facilitates live video calls between you and your website visitors. You are responsible for your conduct during calls. Lobbyside does not record calls and is not responsible for the content of conversations. If you choose to record calls using external tools, you are responsible for complying with applicable recording consent laws.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide (widget text, images, profile data). By using Lobbyside, you grant us a license to display that content as part of the service — for example, showing your name and avatar on the widget embedded on your site.

6. Visitor Data

When visitors submit information through your widget (name, company, email, LinkedIn), that data is stored by Lobbyside and accessible to you through the dashboard. You are responsible for handling visitor data in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Lobbyside available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lobbyside and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Lobbyside after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
